the journey so far
I started the way most do - In rental karts. One drive at a friend’s birthday party, and I was hooked.
I spent the next year and a half deep in local rental karting championships, where I built racecraft, consistency, and learned to extract every tenth I could out of equipment that wasn’t mine.
Along the way, I was given opportunities to drive owner karts and even some prototype cars through incredibly generous teams. These experiences showed me what was possible, pushing me to take it further.
In July 2025, after a year and a half of saving and committing everything I had to the goal, I bought my first Superkart, trailer, and van, secured my Rookie licence, and launched X Racing.
Now, I compete independently in State Superkarting Championships and am loving it just as much that first lap in a rental kart… If not more.
I didn’t come through a traditional pathway. I started racing at 25, and everything I’ve built so far has been self-funded and self-directed. That’s forced me to be resourceful, adaptable, and accountable for every result on track.
I focus heavily on consistency and decision-making under pressure. Along the way, I’ve taught myself how to network, stay organised, and create opportunities rather than wait for them. Every session and every event is treated as valuable data, instead of just seat time.
My training extends well beyond race days. I balance gym sessions for strength and endurance, regular simulator sessions to refine racecraft, and ongoing driver and health coaching to accelerate my development.
Each element of my program is purposeful, whether it’s building my physical resilience, sharpening decision-making, or identifying and understanding race scenarios and sequences before they unfold. All of this ensures that I show up to every race meet - Rental or Superkart - prepared on all levels.
My goal is to build a long-term career in motorsport, progressing through competitive categories while establishing X Racing as a serious independent team. A key part of that is creating clearer pathways into motorsport for young and talented drivers, particularly women, who may not have the financial access or industry knowledge to get started.
I’m working toward competing at national and international levels in karting, with a long-term view of moving into endurance racing. This is a long-term pursuit that I’m committed to building properly step by step.
